Our love of horses started years ago when, as a mother and daughter, we teamed up to show Arabians dressage, hunter, and show hack. That love evolved and grew over the years…and so did the number of Arabs we had! And then one day a friend of my mom’s asked her to do the biggest favor, and adopt a miniature horse mare that had a bad leg. My mom was never known to turn an animal away, so we brought her home. And that is when it all began.

Since then, we have added another generation of horse fanatics. My children, 8 and 5, spend weekends at the farm, feeding, grooming, and caring for the animals. They argue over who gets to push the manure cart (can you believe it?!), and the beg to play with the babies, and work with the horses.


Today, our farm, located in rural Wisconsin, houses a mix of amazing animals. From a herd of retired Arabians, to a lone goat that is pretty sure she belongs in the house, to a herd of top quality miniature horses, Sacred Heart Farm is a home to many. And, for so many of these creatures, we are a Forever Home. We believe that each animal has a delicate soul, and each deserves the chance to grow old with dignity and security, knowing they are truly in a place they can call Home.

Sacred Heart Farm employs a breeding program that includes a mix of the most popular new bloodlines with those classic pedigrees that have stood the test of time. First Knights Billy Idol, Lazy N Redboy, Whitaamacks Micky Mouse, and the Immortal Rowdy…just to name a few.

 
We are looking forward to an incredible venture into breeding to obtain the most refined, elegant, “Horse in Miniature” we can possibly strive to create. Already, we have met amazing people, and expect that these people will evolve into long time friends. We will cherish every moment in this journey, and hope you decide to join us….
